Super 3 Owner's Handbook

Graphic design, technical illustration and project management for the owner’s handbook of the Morgan Super 3.
One of the main challenges that I had to overcome with this design project was ensuring that the exciting eccentricity of the vehicle was conveyed even within this technical document.
Traditionally, vehicle handbook are entirely functional, technical documents but I wanted to add quirks and character to this one to reflect the personality of the car. This was done through careful use of colour, unconventional page layouts and including evocative photographs throughout. Taking extra time and care on every page ensured that the book felt luxurious, friendly and characterful.
In this project I worked very closely with the engineering department to ensure that all the technical information was correct and exploring the most appropriate way to display complex technical information to the customer.
